OnePlus will debut a new concept device at next week’s MWC Barcelona. We’ve now received our first sneak peek at the OnePlus 11 Concept which shows out the phone’s back is equipped with light-up strips and a larger camera island. The blue strips cover the entire back of the phone and circle the camera island too.

Factory-sealed first-generation iPhone sells for over $63,000 at auction

iPhones tend to hold their value better than most other phones but this latest example is one for the history books. A factory sealed first-generation Apple iPhone from 2007 sold for $63,356 at an auction over the weekend.

The device in question is an 8GB Apple iPhone and had an MSRP of $599 back in June of 2007. The auction ran from February 2 with a starting bid of $2,500 which ballooned past the $60,000 mark over the weekend.

Samsung delivers One UI 5.1 update to the Galaxy A53 5G and A33 5G in South Korea

Last week Samsung detailed the global One UI 5.1 rollout schedule for its premium phones. The company’s mid-range offerings are also starting the transition to version 5.1 of the Samsung UI. The first to get it are Galaxy A33 5G and Galaxy A53 5G units in South Korea with firmware versions A336NKSU3CWB3 and A536NKSU4CWB3, respectively.

The pair received One UI 5.0 with the Android 13 update in November. This new update brings the version of One UI that was introduced with the launch of the Galaxy S23 series this month.

Poco X5 series about to get a third member: GT certified

The Poco X5 series arrived earlier this month with X5 and X5 Pro. Multiple listings revealed that a third series member is on its way and will be called Poco X5 GT.

The device with model number 23049PCD8G was listed on IMDA (Infocomm Media Development Authority), which is Singapore’s regulator on media content, services and applications.

A similar device with model number 23049PCD8I was spotted on BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards), suggesting the device will also hit India.

Samsung is rolling out the first update for the Galaxy S23 series

Samsung began open sales of the Galaxy S23 series last week and if you got one, you should know that the first update for the trio is already out. It’s a small update that mostly catches up the phone to security fixes that arrived between the phone’s manufacture and release.

The Galaxy S23, S23+ and S23 Ultra came with the January security patch out of the box, this update brings it up to February 1 2023. The changes include 48 security improvements common to Android 13 phones and 7 for Samsung’s One UI.

The latest Starlink internet plan is now in its testing phase and it promises internet connection “almost anywhere on land in the world”.
