Samsung’s Care+ protection plans in the US will come with unlimited battery repairs starting in May. This will be bundled into the benefits of both Care+ and Care+ with Theft and Loss tiers.
There are, however, two caveats to keep in mind. First, this will make both plans $2 more expensive per month. Second, and perhaps most importantly, you’ll only be eligible for a battery repair if your device’s battery health is at 79% or lower, “as indicated by a diagnostic test”.
